Field Trip With Kids Of Kurumba Tribe

On 14th January 2023, Sevalaya’s Samaritan Gramodharan Samithy organized a special trip for 30 children belonging to the Kurumba tribe studying in Sevalaya’s Education Resource Centre, Gudalur. The children visited the Botanical Garden and Karnataka Siri Horticulture Garden in Ooty. Children enjoyed going around the gardens playing on the large grounds and interacting with each other. The bus for the trip was sponsored by Sree Saraswathi Vivekananda Maha Vidhyalaya Matriculation School(SSVMV), Gudalur. Food and ice cream were sponsored by Jacob, Church Pastor, and Jenitha, Employee in a Trust. Tickets for the botanical gardens were arranged by S P Amrith, Collector of Nilgiris.
